The International Passive House Open Days

The International Passive House Open Days provide the opportunity to experience energy efficient Passive Houses first-hand - so why not drop by?

Energy costs are currently reaching record highs in many countries and are a cause of concern for many people. Here, highly energy efficient buildings offer clear advantages: they require significantly less heating and cooling energy, and residents save on energy costs. Climate protection also benefits from the low energy consumption of these buildings. From 11 to 13 November 2022, Passive Houses around the globe will be open for a visit.

The concept is straightforward: Residents and other stakeholders open their doors and invite interested people to their homes or building projects. "Interested parties receive first-hand information about highly energy-efficient new builds and retrofits. In addition, visitors can feel the good quality of indoor air for themselves". The event, organised by iPHA and its Affiliates, will take place from 11 to 13 November 2022.

A wide variety of projects to visit

The Passive House Institute's project database at www.passivehouse-database.org lists all visit opportunities from 11 - 13 November 2022. The list will be updated continuously. The website of the International Passive House Association (iPHA) provides information on all other events taking place around the Open Days weekend.
